Public
Affairs
- Worked
with Depression Screenings at the University of Kentucky
and in Morehead
- Continued
as an active member of the Mental Health Advocates of Central
Kentucky
- Sponsored
the "When Not to Keep a Secret" Essay Contest
- Continued
as an active member of the Morehead Mental Health Coalition
- Participated
in NAMI Stamp Out Stigma Walk/Runs in Lexington and in Louisville
- Participated
in the Eastern State Hospital MIAW Candlelight Vigil
- Honored
Courier-Journal health reporter Gideon Gil for his coverage
of Medicaid cuts

grants to consumer/advocate groups for MIAW activities
