KPA Forming Disaster Committee

In light of recent events, KPA has decided to form a disaster committee. Michele Fiorella, M.D. has agreed to head this committee. It will have several focuses. One will be to offer help in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. The other is more of an educational effort on Acute Stress Disorder, PTSD and Anxiety after the fact. We need volunteers from all areas of the state that we can call on in emergencies. We also need volunteers - again, statewide - to serve as a speaker's bureau. We would like to reach out to other physicians, mental health workers, and the general public. We hope there will be no need for the response volunteers and lots of requests for speakers.
